Maui Wedding Planner | Wedding Packages | Leilani and Lester’s Soft Light Oluwalu Plantation Wedding

wedding party in Maui Hawaii

Leilani and Lester sought a Maui wedding planner to make their dream day come to life. They found A Dream Wedding Maui Style and picked the perfect Maui wedding package for their needs. It incorporated local style and traditions, including personal touches that were special to Leilani and Lester.

Olowalu Plantation set the stage for a magical wedding day, from prepping the bride, to tying the knot, and cutting a rug at the reception under the stars and market lights. The bridal party helped Leilani transform from her matching bridal party pajamas and into her stunning v-neck dress and traditional Hawaiian haku. Lester sported a classic black tux and a maile lei, his hair freshly faded for the occasion. They met beneath an altar adorned with banana leaves, tropical foliage, and soft white roses.

Their ceremony was truly special and incorporated Filipino Catholic traditions. In addition to exchanging vows, the couple shared the presentation of the coins, the veil and the cord. Rev. Kimo Kirkman incorporated Hawaiian wedding traditions including the blowing of a conch shell. The newly weds sealed they vows with rings and a kiss and the wedding party headed a few feet away to the beautifully lit reception site.

Leilani and Lester snuck away to capture their first moments together. They held hands and strolled beneath the tall canopy of coconut trees and the palms swayed with joy in the wind. As they arrived at an opening and the ocean waves crashed nearby, Leilani and Lester held each other close and shared sweet kisses. They wandered further down to the rocky beach where the majestic Maui mountains played the perfect backdrop for their photoshoot. A few final private moments were filled with glances, smiles, and shakas.

The new husband held his wife’s hand and led her back to the party. Sugar Beach Events prepared world class cuisine which delighted the whole party. DJ Joe Cortez had the crowd on their feet and it was evident that spirits were high.

The whole day went according to plan and this Staten Island couple couldn’t have asked for a better Isle of Maui marriage.

Mahalo to all of the vendors who made this day possible!
